Halton Housing HQ
Project OverviewThe building was designed with a brick clad steel frame – our curtain walling needed to be developed to provide large glazed recesses in order to maximise the impact of natural light, whilst utilising brise soleil to prevent glare.
The architectural concept of this building was extremely interesting and sympathetic to the area – designed with a unique roof layout to pay homage to the chimneys of a nearby landmark, Fiddlers Ferry Power Station.
The new housing association headquarters was required to allow all the staff to relocate from 2 previous offices and merge under one roof, also giving better accessibility to major highways.
