Project Overview

Bermondsey Heights lies at the heart of the regeneration of South Bermondsey on Ilderton Road. A real ‘sweet spot’ project for RED, the main tower comprises 26 storeys of high-quality residential accommodation with commercial units beneath, housing 163 private one, two & three-bedroom & 32 discounted apartments available to local residents through First Homes.

Boasting panoramic views over the London cityscape, Bermondsey Heights is ideally located in the Borough of Southwark, within easy reach of some of the capital’s top destinations, including Tower Bridge, The Shard, Borough Market & Bermondsey Street.

Just a 5-minute train ride from London Bridge, this development represents the best that central London has to offer within easy reach.

Social Value

We’re proud to have brought Ashley on board for the project, a Bermondsey local, he started through an apprenticeship placement. Despite having no prior experience in the industry, Ashley quickly became an invaluable support to our site teams. It’s a great example of how up skilling can leave a lasting legacy in the community.

Design

Very much a design-led scheme, this was one of the first major UK schemes using Technal’s new flagship window system Soleal Next FZ75. We technically appraised the scheme to ensure we met the design intent as well as providing special advice to achieve the accessibility requirements of M4(2) and M4(3).
