Watkin Road

Project Overview

With iconic views of the world-famous Wembley Arch, we were thrilled to be appointed as the main glazing sub-contractor this new high-rise mixed use development at Watkin Road.

Working with our long-term clients, Barratt London, the project involved the re-development of a brownfield site which was formerly used as a vehicle repair workshop.

The area around the National Football Stadium is rapidly being transformed into a sought after residential hub, ideally suited for young professionals looking for an easy commute into the city centre.

The complex project required us to design, supply and installa mixture of curtain walling, bespoke balustrades and windows as part of a façade package worth in excess of £1.8m. Made up of 600m2 curtain walling and 2900m2 of windows, the new development has created 217 homes, of which 67 will be affordable, and will also benefit from hundreds of square metres-worth of workspace.

Working with the team from RED has been an absolute pleasure since the get-go. The whole team are 100% service driven, with clear communication and they really worked as part of the team. Great to see RED senior management onsite regularly too. A really hands-on and efficient team.

As part of this project, the Barratt London team fully embraced our revolutionary adaptation of Field View and our unique end-user QR code quality tracker. Working alongside our digital transformation partners RED Jam, we have invested heavily in new technology to help improve onsite efficiencies and post-scheme customer care delivery across all of our units.
