Challenge Anneka is back with a bang and a brand-new series of challenges! When we were approached to get involved with a major Wirral based project, we didn’t hesitate.

The cause is for an incredible charity and one that is very close to our hearts here at RED. The scheme will help transform the lives of 100’s of dementia sufferers and their families, so even with the tightest of time frames, we just had to get involved.

Working alongside colleagues from Morgan Sindall and an army of volunteers, Team RED were onsite in October to help turn this challenge into reality.

We couldn’t have done this without our Pre-Construction Director Daniel Ruygrok who worked around the clock to make this happen in conjunction with our incredible supply chain partners –  Float Glass, Reynaers, Alpro, Jack Aluminium and Paul Evans Architectural who supported us throughout.

As part of our commitment to CDM compliance & fire safety, our team took part in a seminar delivered by safety experts Project Four Safety Solutions Ltd. The highly detailed session guided us through everything we need to know about the Building Safety Act. The workshop examined ‘the golden thread’ of information all designed to ensure buildings are safer. Focusing in on what we can do as a specialist glazing company to ensure our products, service & delivery are safe & compliant.

We were pleased to hear that we are ahead of the curve in many respects. Our industry must embrace the change & we encourage all to educate themselves & find out exactly what the implications are for businesses and individuals.
